My husband and I will be spending a glorious 2 weeks in Europe this September. We will be in Paris for 10 days and in London for 5. One of the things that I really would like to do is see a WWI battlefield. We will not be renting a vehicle and would like to be able to go to Verdun. Does anyone have any suggestions for being able to see the WWI sites without a car or paying an arm and a leg for a guided tour?
