Wrinkle allergy/ travel clothes steamer

We will be in France for two weeks, unsure of iron availability and we are allergic to wrinkled clothes. Does anyone have a recommendation for a travel steamer. Thank you

I'd check with the hotels you are staying at. We stayed in 3 star hotels and I only saw an iron on the last night of 3 1/2 weeks.

Well, there's many clothes that are Wrinkle Resistant. Eddie Bauer has many shirts that are great for traveling.

As the other people have posted, ask your hotel if they have an iron.

I think that they are using allergic as a figure of speech...only Adrian Monk is really allergic to wrinkled clothes...asymetrical displays and dirty dishes.

Downy Wrinkle Releaser or Wrinkle Free Spray. Both come in under 3 oz sizes for carry on.

Both Voltage Valet and Samsonite have dual voltage compact travel steamers.

leave the travel steamer etc. at home and look for clothes made of wrinkle resistant fabric.
my test in any store: scrunch some material in your hand for 20 seconds, release. look at what happens now. too wrinkled for you: re consider buying.
not wrinkled: possible choice for you
or shop at such outdoor stores as REI, Eddie Bauer, LL Bean etc. (even Costco has clothes by Avia and Misty Mountain that travel and drip dry fast)
good luck.

I always take my Jiffy travel steamer and it does a great job. It is a bit pricer than other models but worth it. Just fill with tap water and plug in. Just google it to find the best price. Linda
