Would like to do a 2-3 day motorcycle loop in Austria

Any thoughts?? We are leaning towards renting a motorcycle and doing the tour on our own but would possibly also consider taking a tour. Any thoughts on routes, where to rent, or other general suggestions about renting a bike in Austria?
