Does anyone know of any wineries or weinguts located on the Rhine or Mosel that would be open during our stay? We are staying in St. Goar December 20-23. Thanks!

Weingut Rieslingstub'n (Weingut – Winzerhof Haxel) on Endertstraße in Cochem shows room availability on your travel dates at booking.com. If open for guests, it makes sense that they might be open for tasting. You might contact them directly to find out. http://haxel.de/?lang=en

The Kroth winery in Briedel on the Mosel is awesome. Bart speaks excellent English and is a gracious host. Don't know if they're open but you can call or shoot an email and he will most likely accommodate you. http://www.weingut-kroth.de/
