We are going to be spending the afternoon and evening in either Spitz or Krems this weekend. Does anyone have a suggestion to which would be better. We would like to sample some wine or visit a winery, walk around, and enjoy a nice meal. I would welcome any suggestions, particularly those for where to sample wine or a winery we can visit (public transportation).

I have been to both places and sampled wine everywhere! I can't remember specific names, but both places are packed full of places to sample wines. Both towns are beautiful, and don't forget to sample the homemade schnapps as well.
