wine tours in burgundy or rhone valley

I'm going to this area in September, with two others, and we want to visit some wineries. We've done this in CA, and prefer to hire a town car or limo vs. driving ourselves. Here (in CA) you simply hire the limo for approx $75 per hour, with a 4 hour minimum. It's common, they know the wineries, routes, etc. But, I can't find a similar service on the internet for in France. The listed "wine tours" I've found all seem to want 150-200 Euros per person, mostly in a minivan, with others. Any suggestions on how I should proceed? Or, should I wait until I get there, and try to arrange it locally?

Thanks, GB

I recently saw a great response to a similar question concerning the advantages of using a touring company in Burgundy:

  1. access - you will see places not generally scene by the general public.

  2. tasting - avoid driving in France when consuming any alcohol. This is the time to let some one else drive.

  3. language - unless you speak French fluently, do not expect wine growers to speak English. Wine is their business - not foreign language studies.

  4. knowledge - use the experience of a knowledgeable guide. His experience and information alone is worth the price of the tour.

I have worked with Wine & Voyages in Nuits St Georges and they arranged transportation + guiding for my specific program. They know the ins and outs.

Have fun!
