We will be in Provence in late September, 2012 and would like to wine taste in the Cotes du Rhone. A friend said that most wine tasting sites would be closed due to harvesting. I did not see this in Rick's France book. Any advice would be appreciated! Merci, Mary Ellen

Mary Ellen - Try Domaine de Mourchon in Seguret. Their website says there is a tour on Wednesday afternoons through September. I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful vineyard and its gracious owners.

2006 and 2010 trips to France were both Sept/Oct. Spent several days in Provence and had no shortage of wine tasting opportunities in this region or any other during these trips. Go and enjoy. Lisa
