Does anyone know of any WiFi spots in CDG? We are having friends meet us in France and we are worried about their being able to communicate with us in Rennes. If they miss their train or have other problems in CDG we would like to be able to direct them to a WiFi location, preferably free. We know from experience that it is not available in the TGV station under the airport.
Thanks much, Mike & Mary
Assuming nothing has changed in the past few months, CDG has free wi-fi, but only for 15 minutes. To go beyond that, you have to pay a fee online. You can also buy timecards at the "Relay" magazine/newspaper stores, of which there are many throughout the airport. Also, there is a Starbucks in Terminal 1.
The Airports of Paris Internet site is very useful. Here is its guide to WiFi http://wifi.aeroportsdeparis.fr/WIFI/En-GB/Wifi/Homepage/
It indicates the charges and how to pay; I was surprised that the rates are pretty cheap compared to some hotels.
