We are staying in Seville for 4 days and thinking of renting a car for 1 day and drive to white villages and Rhonda? Is this feasible?
Sure....it'll be a long-ish day but not impossible. A route from Sevilla to Arcos de Frontera to Ronda(via Grazalema) and back is about 300 kilometers (190 miles). With the winding roads, the driving time will be about five hours. If you leave early enough, you should be able to spend several hours in each of those three places before returning to Sevilla....and you'll beat the rush hour traffic in Sevilla as well. If you think you have time, and an extra half hour, you could come back via Zahara, another great white village to see....but the roads into here are especially twisty.
Certainly worth the effort for a day trip, but better is you could spend the night in or around Rhonda. You can even drive over the other side, though the cork forest, and visit Gibraltar. You can see our pictures at our blog in the Southern Spain post.
