Which wineries should I visit ?

I`m going to Champagne and Burgundy. Where should I go for a first timer ?
I love all wines and make wine myself.
Thanks.

I've never been to Champagne, but I really love Beaune in Burgundy. So many places to sample wine, right in the town. Definitely worth a couple of nights.

A must in the Champagne region is Moet et Chandon in the town of Epernay. The tour is terrific. They've been making champagne since 1743.

Kent, I visited five of those areas by bicycle.

Just sayin'.

But yes, wheels needed.

Carl, don't turn up your nose at the Chablis wines just because they are white (even if you don't make it to Chablis).

The whites of Chablis, Macon and the Cote d'Or are the world's best. They're nothing like you get from most California vineyards.

Adam: At what point (after how many tastings) were you no longer bicycling in a straight line?:)
