Can anybody recommend a good neighborhood to stay in Lisbon? I didn't buy RS book because I am only there for a couple days. And on Lonelyplanet.com they list about 12 different parts of Lisbon to stay. We are a 24 year old couple if that makes a difference at all. Thanks!

Anna, I would buy the RS book on Portugal. How significant is the $20 you'll spend on the book compared to the cost of your trip? Having used both RS's books and Lonely Planet, you will get much better help on where to stay from RS. I would stay in the heart of the city if you possibly can. His book will no doubt provide some good recommendations for you.

Why not go to the big book store, get a cup of coffee and read the book and take notes. I read that much just to see if I want to buy a book anyway!
