I am between Hotel Royal Magda (excellent reviews, simple rooms) in the 8e Arr or Hotel Pointe Rivoli in the Marais area. If I stay at Hotel Pointe Rivoli, I would get the suite which looks amazing. Everyone complains about the stairs, but I am thinking the suites are not up too far. At Hotel Royal Magda I would be getting one of the small rooms.
