Am arriving CDG at 8 am-taking Roissybus to L'Opera. My hotel is WAY across town in the 20th, so I was hoping to find somewhere to store my one carry-on bag while I putter around the area until I can check in at my hotel at 3 pm. (I COULD go to hotel and give baggage to concierge, but then I'd just want to head back to the L'opera area anyways) Suggestions? Could I use the "parcel" check at Galleries Lafayette? Do they accept luggage?!

Kellie, it will be at least 10:00 or 10:30 by the time you arrive at Opera, not 9:00 am.

Thank-you Norma, but it's always taken me almost 60 minutes exactly from CDG to L'Opera in the mornings.
Does anyone have an answer to the question I actually asked about?

I suggest you go to your hotel in the 20th, leave your luggage there and then "putter around" the 20th, leaving the area around l'Opera for another day. You can always go to the Pere Lachaise cemetery, have lunch and then hang around the hotel until they let you check in.

A good suggestion, however, I have business in the 20th over the next three days and will be puttering about there enough. Really want to drop my luggage somewhere near the Opera at 9 am and then head to hotel after lunch.
