Hello all, My parents and I are planning a trip through Austria, but we are having a hard time finding a place to stay in Werfen. We would like to stay in some type of farmhouse or B&B. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, one of the reasons that we decided to travel there was because we heard it was a great place to horseback ride. We are a family of equestrian enthusiasts and would like to ride while we are there. Does anyone know how we would go about arranging to ride?

The town website, www.werfen.at (actually that URL redirects you to a tiscover.com website, but it's about Werfen), shows some accommodations. Most have websites and email addresses, so you can contact them directly. The website shows accommodations by type. If you want a true B&B, look under "Privatvermieter" (private renters). There's 15 of those There are also 14 "Ferienwohnungen" (vacation apartments, which would include a small kitchen) and 6 "Bauernhöfe" (farm houses, sing. "Bauernof").
