Family of 4 visiting Vienna for mainly Spanish Riding school. Where should we stay? Already have tickets for 28th December 2011 performance.

Spiess and Spiess apartments!! Look it up on Trip Advisor. It's in a residential area, but about a 1 minute walk to the underground. Two stops and you are in St. Stephans Square. FABULOUS apartments with breakfast. Lots of room. No need to stay in the middle of the city. I wouldn't stay anywhere else again!! Have fun!!

Two years ago we stayed at the Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth . It was great! The breakfast was wonderful and location was excellent.

Do you have RS Vienna Guide Book yet? If so, good. If not, I would suggest you get it as it has lots of valuable information about places to stay that we used when staying there last month.
