I have looked in Rick's France guidebook, he does not have anything very special. Any suggestions? I would not mind others areas close to the Champagne region.

Our "bibles" for finding lodgings are www.karenbrown.com and www.specialplacestostay.com. We've used them extensively in France and have always been happy. Both have listings in the moderate price range, as well as splurge type places. Both have recently overhauled their websites; and I don't remember if KB still lists B&B's separately from hotels, as was true in the past. Both also publish their listings in books. Karen Brown is avalable in most big chain stores, Special Places . . ., less so.

Both of the websites that you suggested are wonderful. I found several B&B's to stay in at reasonable rates. Thanks for the information.
