Does anyone have any favorite places to stay in Lisbon they would recommend?
Residensial Florescente. A great value and location. Pedestrian only street that turns into outdoor dining at night. Ask for room 601 if you need a double. Great view of Castello St. George.
My husband and I loved Zuzabed B&B. http://zuzabed.com/
We stayed there in spring 2009. The owner, Luis, is fantastic and really seems to enjoy meeting and helping his guests. The B&B is small (4 rooms, I think), great location, delightful breakfast. From the website I gather he his since opened an additional property.
Hotel Florescente - it's on a pedestrian street and within walking distance to a lot of sites as well as bus, metro, and train.
