Looking for suggestions for hotels or B&B in Brussels and Paris. Location, safety important. Mid price range. Thanks.

Paris is almost all safe. So is Brussels. A euro/dollar amount would help suggestions more than "mid". Satisfactory in Paris hotels runs from sixty bucks to the top of the Tower.

How many of you? Any children? How much is mid range -150E, 400E ? How long in each place. If over 4-5 days, begin to think apartment. At times, a 7 day rental, used 5 days is still cheaper than a 5 day hotel stay.
I stayed 8 blocks from Pigalle and walked through it morning, noon and night and never felt unsafe. Same for St. Ouen area. All of Paris is safe, assuming you use normal caution.

Thanks for the tips. Ended up choosing a Globus Tour. Staying at Radisson Blu Ambassador in Paris and Radisson Blu Royal in Brussels, also the Hilton in Luxembourg. They sound pretty good. Thanks again. Dori
