Traveling from southwest France to Barcelona in mid October and wonder if anyone has stayed in Andorra La Vella overnight in one of their hotels. How are the highways? Thank you.

We drove up there once. Our guide book said it was an "arduous drive" but it wasn't really. We did not stay overnight. In fact, we had lunch and then left, having found it to be just a very large shopping centre. Oh, and the roads were very good.
