With one extra day should I spend 2 days in Rothenberg, 2 days in Dresden or 2 days in Heidelberg?

Spend an extra day in Heidelberg BUT go and visit the historical old town and the UNESCO world hertigage cathedral of Speyer!! Also make sure you visit Dreifaltigkeitskirche (Trinity Church), built between 1701 and 1727 there! If you're interested in technology, i.e. airplanes, rail engines etc. make sure to also spend a few hours at their technology museum. They've got an entire Boeing 747 there.
