Where to go in two weeks

Can anyone suggest an itinerary for us flying from US to France then car/train/flight to Switzerland and Italy. We like to see Paris, Italian riviera (if there is enough time),Tuscany and Rome. No Venice. Where do you suggest in France on the way from Paris to Switzerland? Where to go/not go in Switzerland? We have 2 weeks and traveling with a very easy 10 years old. I appreciate any suggestion. Thanks

I agree with Ian, though if you could add just three days or so I think you could include a stop in Switzerland, probably the Berner Oberland.

I like the Italian part of your itinerary, but that could easily take a good nine days, including transit times.

Thanks.We will try to add 2 more days for Switzerland. How about around Lake Geneva?
