Hello,
I am considering language schools in spain and I have no idea what city to go to. I think I have narrowed it down to Malaga and Barcelona, but I am open to suggestions of ANYWHERE in spain!
Thanks So Much!

Salamanca if you're loocking for an educational environement. If you just want a commercial factory, pick any large city based on any unrelated criteria you wish.
They speak Catalan in Barcelona.
And Spanish.
If you are serious about really learning Spanish, check out the Instituto Cervantes. Their main web page (in Spanish only) is cervantes.es. While you may not be able to read it very well, you can see that they have a huge amount of offerings, both on the web and in Spain and other places.
Their US branch is in Albuquerque, NM. That web page (in English) is http://albuquerque.cervantes.es/en/default.shtm.
You could also call and talk with them about a recommendation for a school in Spain.
Thanks! I'm starting to think more about Salamanca, Granada, or Sevilla... but I have never been to spain so I have absolutely no idea!
In Salamanca you'll learn castillian. If you study in Anadalucia you'll probably pick up some other constructions and even word-forms that will give you extra fits in south america but will probably not be problematic in the rest of spain.
Just to confuse you further - a wonderful city in Spain is Santiago de Compostela, and it has a university.
