where to go?

We're traveling to Europe for the first time in Sept. Neuerburg, Germany is one of our stops, but beyond that, we're entirely up in the air. Where should we go from there?

Well, I have a degree in French (28 years ago) and have never been to France. Once I come to terms with the fact that that I can no longer speak the language, I will definitely want to spend a good portion of our time there. I prefer countryside travel to cities, but won't exclude large cities from the itinerary. My husband's ancestors hail from Neuerburg, Germany, so that's a must.

Hi Barb. How much time do you have to travel, and how big is your budget? These factors will help you determine where to go. If you're interested in visiting French-speaking countries, people speak French in the Wallonia region of Belgium.
