Does anyone know where I can buy Rick Steves Switzerland travel guide in Switzerland (preferrably Zurich). Any pointers are appreciated.

It looks like they have "rapid" shipping to Europe. This should be cheaper than ordering from Amazon.com, which originates their shipping from the US.
I also found one at Amazon.de (demark? germany?) if you think that'd be easier for shipping to Zurich.

Unfortunately this is not a practical solution for me - I travel round the world, do not have either German, French (or European address) to ship to from European amazon sites (plus even if they accept North American billing addresses I do not know either French or German to use the site ).
To make a long story short I need a bookshop in Zurich. I could not take the guidebooks from the States for all the countries I plan to visit and have to pick them up on site.

Try the following places in Zurich...The English Bookshop, Bahnhofstrasse 70, tel. 0848 849 848....The Librairie Payot, Bahnhofstrasse 9, tel. 0211 5452. The Travel Book Shop, Rindermarkt 20, tel. 0252 3883. Failing that, e-mail Rick's people at rick@ricksteves.com and ask if their material is distributed anywhere in or near Zurich.
