Once we land in CDG this Sunday evening, I want to buy 4 Paris Museum Passes so we can hit the sites on Monday. Where is the best place to buy the tickets -- in CDG? at a tabac store? I don't want to buy at one of the sites, such as the Louvre, since I already want to have passes in hand once I arrive. Thanks for any help!

You can also buy them in any of the TI's in the city. Many hotels also sell them.
You're right that you should buy them before getting to the museum as often there are lines for pass holders. It could save you a long wait to get in.

I was staying in the Rue Cler area, so I bought the tickets at Les Invalides. It's the metro stop that I access for the Rue Cler. I bought the pass, hit the Metro and was off to Versailles.

We bought ours at a FNAC dept. store, they sell tickets to concerts, events,etc at a desk in the store. You can the museum passes there. We used the one by the Opera Bastille and there was no line & no wait. Other FNAC are all around the city.

Do remember many museums close on Mondays or Tuesdays, plan visits carefully, a 4 day pass may be overkill , a two day pass may do.
You may not realize there are not long lines at every sight.
