Has anyone traveled to Lisbon or southern spain during march/april how many layers will we need?
I was in southern Spain (Andalucia) last March. The weather was excellent- light jacket in the evening, I may have worn a cardigan during the day. It shouldn't be that cold, so I would say two layers max. It was a little warm some of the days we were there (ss t-shirt weather).
We have been in Portugal & Spain 3 times in March/April and have had different weather each time. Once I wore the capris I had every day (glad I had packed 2 pairs) and the long pants stayed in the suitcase. Next time, I wished I had another layer to put on - a light jacket and a sweater over a t-shirt only just kept me warm. And last time we were there, it was warm in late March and then cooler in April. So, I suggest a mixture of clothes and especially things you can layer, if need be. But don't leave home without a few short sleeve tops and capris. One pair of shorts for that extra warm day & sitting in the sun is a good idea.
Thanks for the info I appreciate it!
