What do do in 3 days in the French Riviera

My husband and I will be spending days in the French Riviera in the end of May. Our 'base' city will be Nice. How would you recommend filling these 3 days? Can Villefranche, Cap Ferrat and Monaco all be done in 1 day or is it too much of a stretch? Thanks!!!

Thais, I'd suggest spending one day in Nice, as the "old town" section is wonderful. There are also some good Museums. Another day could be spent in Monaco and Monte Carlo (which is just across the bay). The Changing of the Guard at the Palace in Monaco takes place every day at 11:55 as I recall (be sure to get there early to get a good spot). You may want to have a look at the Church where Princess Grace and Prince Rainier are interred. I found the Oceanographic Museum to be very interesting. If you're energetic, walk to Monaco. If not, take the Bus. If you're planning to have a look in the famous Casino, note that there is a dress code. The third day could perhaps be "split" between Villefranche sur Mer and Eze. Fitting Villefranche, Cap Ferrat and Monaco into one day could probably be done, but if would be far too rushed for me. Happy travels!

That sounded more like 3 days to me than one. Take time to enjoy walking around Cap Ferrat.

This May will be my 3rd trip to Southern France. I stay in a little town near Villefranche. I would so highly recommend going to Villa Ephrussi De Rothschild. The Villa is grand and the gardens are spectacular. Look it up on line. It is on Cap Ferrat which is such a lovely spot. Villefranche is a nice little town with a lot of tourists. They have a fun market day but I forgot which day it was. I don't think you can do all three in one day.
Eze Village is quite lovely. Hope that helps a little.

VillaFranche, Eze, and St Paul DeVence are all great daytrips from Nice. Nice can easily fill up a day itself. Old town Nice is a great place to spend a day.
