After finishing a bike tour of Provance, I have 2 weeks to explore the rest of France.
I will have started in Paris then start the 7 day bike tour in Avignon.This all happens in May 2009
Is Marselle worth seeing or Monaco/Nice? how is transportatin? I was thinking of getting a France train pass?

One way to look at it: Marseilles is worth a day, some people don't give it an overnight but some do. The area called Provence is worth several days at least, unless your bike tour covers it. Nice is worth a couple of days to many people, Monaco is worth a day-trip from Nice. Rail connects all these areas except the parts of Provence not on the rail lines (Nimes, Avignon, Arles, and Aix are on the rail lines).
