Hi everyone, My soon to be husband and I will be in Paris right after Christmas and are looking for some good restaurants. Can you give me suggestions on your favorite restaurants....moderately priced in Paris? Thanks, Megan

Paris has a ton of amazing restaurants, choosing a favorite is hard. There are a lot of English-language food blogs for Paris. That said, my best experience was at Cabanes le Huitres near the Montparnasse tower. It's an oyster shack. So you go for oysters. Most of my other favorites are various Asian hole-in-the-wall restaurants, which is probably not what you're looking for.

Thanks for the advice, I had seen the oyster place. We are defiantly into having whatever is out there beside "American" type food. Anything that I could really get in the US.....except pizza....we don't really want to try. Megan

Megan, I would definitely NOT make an exception for pizza. Much as I love eating in Europe, the pizza, particularly in Italy is inedible.
