I'm studying in Venice for 2 months. I have a three day weekend to travel, and was wondering if Austria would/could work. Innsbruck perhaps? Does anybody know the cheapest/most efficient way to get there?

Cheapest, most efficient way is by train. The journey takes 5-6 hours. You can find the train schedules & prices in English here: www.oebb.at Be sure to put in "Venezia" as your departure station, not "Venice."
