Weather in Wengen

We will be in Wengen for 3 & 1/2 days on the third week of July. I looked at the weather forecast this week and saw that it was on the 40 degrees. To me , it meant we should bring Jacket/ warm clothes.We will be coming from Paris. Can someone please advise us ? Thanks
