we will be traveling through france 8/26-9/14 and would appreciate hearing from you travelers about the weather you experienced recently and anyone traveling there before we leave, i would appreciate your in-put also. thank you, it's our first visit and we want to be prepared for hot or cool during these months.

Try weather.com. It shows the historical data and well as predictions for up to 14 days in advance....According to the data I reviewed, it is mid 70's during the day and mid 60's in the evening this month.

Be prepared for some rain. We just got back and for the entire two weeks it rained almost every day. Mercifully not for long stretches of time and Lord knows it didn't slow us down but take small travel umbrellas just in case. We just popped ours in our purses and were set for anything. Paris can also be very muggy and always bring some kind of light jacket or sweater because evening do cool down. I eveny you your first trip - it is just magical!
