this question is for all of you traveler's that have experienced the weather in france during the late summer early fall seasons.
i would appreciate your opinions.

What part of France?
We were in Provence (the Var) during the last week of September/First week of October and the weather was fabulous ---up until the last day when the temps dropped and it rained. Have a good trip!

we will be cruising burgundy & provence to the cote d'azur.
the journey includes, nice', monaco, normandy. and paris.

My advice? Be prepared. Just returned from a week in Paris, in July, when the temperature never got above 72 degrees. And I'd always heard that Paris was hot in the summer. Pack a sweater, clothes that you can layer, a windbreaker, and an umbrella.

thank you very much. i would love the cool weather and rain wouldn't be a problem at all.
i luv temp's in the 60-70's. with my luck france will be having an extreme heat wave like a couple of years ago.
