We will be in Paris when the Tour de France arrives? How do we see this?

Where do we go? What do we do to see their entrance?

Thanks.

The conclusion is a series of circuits on the Champs d'Elysees. I understand it's quite crowded so just get there early.

We watched the 2001 final stage in Paris. They go around the Tuilleries Gardens and up the Champs Elysees 8-10 times so that area is the best vantage point. You can find a spot on the Champs Elysees, on rue de Rivoli or in the Tuilleries Gardens. It is very crowded as the previous poster wrote but still very do-able. You do have to claim a spot at least 3 hrs before the racers get there and for the last 7+ yrs it has been scorching hot so wear sunblock and bring lots of water. There are public restrooms in the park and there are cafe's along rue de Rivoli. It was a thrill to watch!
