Is it for the five of us to take the train with the one ticket for 5 people for aprox. 12E? Then get off in Fussen and I read in the archives there is a bus that takes us up to the Castle? Then the enterance fee is 12E (?) for adults and kids under 12 free?
We could drive - but train seems easier ... Thanks for any advice and tips!

The ticket for 5 people is the Bayern-Ticket, an all day pass for unlilmited rides on regional trains all over Bavaria. It costs €29. It's valid after 9 workdays, from midnight weekend days. There is a bus from the Füssen Bahnhof to Hohenschwangau (the castles). The bus is also covered with the Bayern-Ticket. The bus stop is in the village of Hohenschwangau, where you buy your tickets and reserve a time. Neuschwanstein is a considerable uphill walk from there.
