For those of you who happen to be in Munich on June 25, 26 or 29 you will be able to watch the semi finals and the final in the Olympic stadium (1972 Olympics) together with 30.000 other people. Admission is free.In Frankfurt all the matches, i.e. also the quarter finals are being shown on a huge screen in a downtown arena with the capacity of 10.0000 people on Rossmarkt square, just around the corner of Hauptwache.
Sounds good, FORZA AZZURRI and FORZA ITALIA!
Speaking of Euro 2008 there is an interesting article in the London Times comparing the transit systems of CH & Austria during the tournament to that of the UK. It's an interesting read:

Go Turkey!
Well, so now it's clear Germany will play Turkey in the semi finale. So obviously Germany will be one of the parties in the final. My current bet for the C/D group side candidate for the finale: Netherlands. David, having watched the previous matches do you really think Italy has a change of winning Spain? Well, tonight we did see the underdog winning... but is that going to happen at every quarter final?
I wouldn't advance Germany there yet. Turkey might just be this year's Greece and after tonight's amazing win I can't bet against them.
As for Italy, I think they can get past Spain if Buffon plays well but it will definitely be a challenge with two of their big players suspended.
Oh David....Turkey certainly has the heart, but the talent isn't there, unfortunately. Turkey has about 10 players out thru injury or suspension, and if Nihat's groin injury is serious, the guiding light of that squad is gone. It was a completely lacklustre performance by both teams, either one of which would have been clobbered by Germany had they made so many mistakes in a contest against them. I have to agree with Andreas....it looks like Germany and the Netherlands.
I'm just amazed that I found at least two people in this forum who obviously know what they're talking about. Thank you very much! And you know what any Germany-Holland match means? A battle among brothers. The Dutch national anthem starts with the words "we are of German blood". Well, I don't know about that but they DO cause most of the traffic jams in Germany... well, anyway, you get the picture... But Van Basten's guys are surprisingly strong this year and they play the most beautiful and entertaining football on top of that. They really deserve to be beaten in the final by nobody else but us ;-)...
