Want to walk thru Gimmelwald on the way. Is this doable? How long should it take?

My husband and I did this a few years ago. It is my favorite hike ever. We started at the Schilthorn for the view and a coffee. We took the gondola down to Murren and hiked to Lauterbrunnen. We packed a lunch and stopped mid way down for a rest and lunch. It was beautiful and a easy hike down. It took about 2-3 hours depending on how fast you walk and look around. We took our time and just enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Very doable. It should take about three hours. But this variation, which doesn't go through Gimmelwald, is more scenic: http://tinyurl.com/4537j4j Rick's Switzerland guidebook has a map of the popular trails in in the region. In addition, the TI offices in the area and the hotels have more detailed hiking maps free of charge.
