I know you already got your answer, but I second that answer. Plus, I loved the walk from San Nicolas to Plaza Nueva (I stayed at hotel Macia Plaza on Plaza Nueva). I absolutely love the Albayzin area and it is especially charming at night! We felt very safe. There are so many people out dining and touring, it's not at all desolate. Have a wonderful time.
