I read somewhere that Colmar and Eguisheim are fairly close and that Kayserberg and Eguisheim are only 3-4 miles apart. Is it feasable to walk Colmar to Equisheim to Kayserberg? Has anyone biked it? Is it along a road or a pathway without cars? Thanks for any information.

Colmar and Eguisheim are 4 miles apart. Didn't see any hikers, but plenty of bikers-we had a car. It's 7 miles to Kaysersberg (our #1) from Eguisheim, and it was our favorite of the villages we visited. On a previous trip we had been to Riquewir. Those were our fav's-busloads of tourists at Riquewir. We also saw Turckheim (beautiful too, but smaller), Hunavir, and Ribeauville. Turckheim is between Eguisheim and Kaysersberg. K... back to Colmar is 7 miles-total 24 miles. Send pm if you'd like more info
