Husband and I are going to visit the Bernese Oberland in a few weeks. We'll probably stay in Interlaken, but drive through Thun on our way west. I've read that there are amazing views of the lake in this area, which is our prime goal, but haven't read about any particular scenic viewpoints. We're just driving through (not planning to stop and do anything else there). Any thoughts about where a good place would be to get out, stretch our legs, and take a few photos of the lake? Thanks,

There is a park around the Schadau castle in Thun that is on the lake. You get a nice view from the Thun castle also.
You could also consider Oberhofen or Spiez that are very picturesque.
