My husband, then 7 yr old daughter and I will be visiting our son for about a week this Christmas while he is attending college in Erlangen, Germany. We want to see Erlangen & Nuremberg for a couple of days and then go as a family somewhere within a half day's train ride. We have seen a lot of Bavaria and Austria in the past. We are kind of thinking Prague, but are looking for suggestions.
This will be our daughter's first trip to Europe but the rest of us have been multiple times.
