We have two nights to travel from Vienna to Salzburg and Munich. We can leave Vienna in the morning and return after 48 hours. We are flexible about where to go first Salzburg or Munich. Is it possible to include Neuchwanstein castle in this much time.I am 69 years old and my wife is 63 years. We have a place to stay in Munich with friends

Are you saying you have 2 days to visit Salzburg, Munich and Neuschwanstein? If so then "no" don't do it.

I agree with Tim. Salzburg is a nice stop with plenty to fill those 2 days. Munich would also work for two days. I would not try to cover both in two days, let alone add Neuschwanstein. Gary
