Doe anyone have information on a showing of 70 Van Gough's last paintings in Madrid.
What gallery would these be held at?
I understand you have to buy tickets that let you in at a specific time?
If someon has a web site that I could go to that would be helpful.
thanks
It is at the http://www.museothyssen.org/thyssen_ing/home.html. The Thyssen has a great collection of other impressionists also. The Van Gogh exhibit only goes through Sept 16th. The website takes you to a group selling tickets - click on "tickets" or try www.mosaicodiffusion.com .They show 3 companies to purchase tickets from but the Mosaico World works best (it's in English and the other two are Spanish only). The Van Gogh exhibit is by reservation (every 15 minutes so it doesn't get too crowded) though the ticket I purchased is good for the Van Gogh, the main collection and the Richard Estes collection for 15 euro. It would be 12 at the museum but I wanted to make sure I got it. I got mine for 9/11 and they assured me I could use it either 9/11 or 9/12.
I hope this helps.
