We are stopping in Villefranche for a day on the cruise ship and would like to find a tour company to give us a full day tour of the area for 8 people. Does anyone have any recommendations on what tour company???

it's a very small place you can do it on your own. there is a small castle and then the town. i'd try to see it in half day and then train to menton or other towns on the train line.

I agree with the previous poster. Villefranche is beautiful, but quite small. From memory, I believe that Rick's Provence guide includes adequate detail for you to take a self-guided tour. As Villefranche is quite close to Nice, Antibes, Cannes and Monaco, you'll probably be able to spend the second half of your day in one of those towns and still be able to make it back to your ship before departure. You could also easily walk or bus to Cap Ferrat which is enjoyable or enjoy Villefranche's small, relaxed beach.
