Vienna Self Service Laundry

If no one answers you here go on the tripadvisor.com Vienna forums.. they have more specific forums so its easier sometimes to get very specific answers. Alot of us here are sink washers,, and the rest seem to do laundry in apartments they rent, lol

If you are staying in a hotel, they can direct you to the closest one. The one I used was near the train station.

Hi, Here is a possible answer that may help you, but the self service laundromat is closer to the Westbahnhof area. I came across it while walking from Westbahnhof, never used the machines, and don't know of any in the Ringstrasse area. It's "Schnell und Sauber Wasch Center," Westbahnstrasse 60 or 7....across from the police station. It's located in the 1070 district (the city zip code)

A couple of the rooms in Pension Sacher, right in the center next to the cathedral, have washmachines and drying racks. Super awesome place to stay and cheap.

Okay, first make your way to the train station and get on the fist train out to Budapest From the Budapest Keleti Station Take the M2 subway one stop to the Biaha Lujaza ter Transfer to the No. 2, 2A tram towards the west end. Get off at the Oktogon ter stop (third stop). Transfer to the M1 subway one stop to the Opera stop. Exit the subway and walk up Hajos utca on the right hand side of the Opera. Turn right on O utca and look for number 42 on the left. The laundry service is in the building courtyard. But sorry, its not self service. It will cost you about $5 a load to let them do it for you (wash and fold) while you go sight seeing.
