Anyone know best way to get from Wien Meidling rail station in Vienna to the Vienna Marriott hotel?

Hi, The simplest way from Wien Meidling to the Vienna Marriott is to go by the subway, the U-Bahn. Take U-4 at Meidling to Landstraße, transfer there on the U-3, Direction: Ottakring, to Stubentor, it's only one stop. This U-3 line stops also at Westbahnhof. Wien's U-Bahn stations are well marked.

Larry, A few general comments about transportation in Vienna: 1. Get a map of Vienna; you can pick up a free Stadtplan at you hotel; it has a detailed map, an abbreviated map, and a u-bahn map. 2. Beware the u-bahn exits. May have more than one stairway or escalator up to street level. Your orientation may be thrown off if you emerge from the wrong exit! 3. The Viennese must have great confidence in the knowledge and awareness of visitors...else why ever would there be so very few street signs?! You can waste a good bit of time if you emerge from the wrong stairway exit and can't find a street sign.
