The Vienna Festival runs this year from early May to Sunday, June 14. It seems that the hotel and flight reservations for Vienna for the weekend of June 13-14 are tight (at least compared to other European cities).
My questions:
Are the relatively greater problems with Vienna hotel rooms and flights simply typical of summer weekends in Vienna, or is the Vienna Festival the big reason?
What is the Vienna Festival like? Is it worth considering by those who are not particularly big fans of classical music and dance?
