I plan to fly into Vienna, then not sure if I want to go to Dubrovnik or parts of Germany. I will end up in Cinque Terre and fly out of Pisa. My questions are, I have a little over 2 weeks(including flight time) and was wondering if Croatia or Germany would be better. Also, should I rent a car or do train travel? I usually go to just Italy and do trains except while in Tuscany. I don't want to waste my time on travel when I could be in a place an extra day or so.
Any advice is much appreciated!!
