Having difficulty finding anything at about $100 per night in this area for July (Jazz festival month in Montreux.
so far only a hostel dorm is avail.
Can anyone suggest lodging nearby and walking distance from train stations along this portion of swiss rivera? thanks in advance.

Since the trains are so reliable - check out some neighboring towns or up the hill a bit - you can also try the swiss tourism website - myswitzerland.com
