Don't know whether to purchase the Museum Pass for my teens as kids under 18 are free most places. Do we get them passes in order to skip lines? Do they skip lines w/parents' passes? What about Versailles admission for my kids? Pay there or buy em passes?
Mark - the fee for the gardens is only for days in which the fountains are running. Fountain days can be verified online if you want to avoid them. Otherwise, they are free. Leslie - your teens may love renting a paddle boat on the canal and/or ride a bike through the gardens.
Hi Leslie, You are correct, under 18 are allowed free access to most (if not all) of the museums/attractions associated with the Paris Museum Pass. Kids under 18 can jump the line along with their parents. You don't mention the age of your kids. You may want to bring along ID that shows their age. (School ID, copy of passport etc) if they are anywhere close to 18 so there will be no problem. Also I'm almost certain Versailles admission for kids under 18 is also free. FYI -When we were there last there was an additional fee for the gardens even with the passes.
